Sophomore Jared Gallagher was named the All-NEC First Team relief pitcher. He ranked second in the league with seven saves and posted a 3-1 record with a 1.59 earned run average. The left-hander limited opposing batters to a .229 aveage and tossed 34.0 innings in 17 appearances. He helped anchor a bullpen that compiled a league-best 15 saves during the year.
The first weekend of December is TCB’s annual College Prospect Camp. Over the years college coaches from Notre Dame, LSU, Maryland and Boston College have been instructors in this College Prospect event.
The Bristol Blues announced a new partnership with Team Connecticut Baseball. Team Connecticut Baseball is a premier travel baseball club established 23 years ago with the mission of becoming a College Development Program. This mission has come to fruition and is evident by the hundreds of TCB players who have continued not only their baseball careers, but their academic careers in the college ranks.
