TCB COLLEGE COMMIT DAY
TCB held its 5th Annual College Commit Day at the Veterans Memorial Club House in East Hartford. This year’s event saw 20 players in attendance and 3 other players who could not attend due to family, academic, or other athletic commitments.
“What an amazing day for the players and their families.” Said Bob Hetu, TCB General Manager. “We as a program(TCB) feel fortunate that we can recognize our players in an environment that emphasizes how important it is to continue your education.”
There have been TCB players at the College Commit Day that are continuing their education and not playing baseball at the next level, there have even had players who are going on to college and playing football or basketball.
“We feel that every one of our players should be recognized for continuing their education, no matter what Division and no matter what school. The point is that the families should be proud that their son is continuing their education beyond high school.” Explains Dan Kennedy, TCB 18u Director.
“All in All, what a great day! We could not be prouder of the players each year that decide to continue their education and we at TCB are humbled to be a small part of the lives of these fine young men.” Says Kennedy.
